Sports Treatment is pleased to offer patients a full diagnostic imaging service through Alliance Medical Limited.

If following examination and assessment diagnostics are required, an Xray, CT Scan or 3 Tesla MRI scan can be arranged for self-funding patients.

• Musculoskeletal Imaging
• Abdominal Imaging

The referral process

A referral form with your patient information and clinical history is faxed by your therapist to Alliance Medical at York Diagnostic Imaging.

Alliance Medical then contact you to offer you a convenient appointment at in York. On completion of your scan, you leave with your results in CD format. A copy of the Radiologist’s report is sent to the therapist at Sports Treatment.

Your therapist will explain the report in layman’s terms to you and revise your treatment plan accordingly.
